Join the Chief Prognosticator links directory. It’s been open for a couple of months now and already has around 50 sites listed. As the directory grows, the popularity and PageRank will follow, providing you more traffic and more publicity to your site. Choose from a variety of categories and get your site listed today! It’s free to join with a link exchange. One note, if you have a Blogger accounted pointing to your own URL, the automatic process will not work. You need to click on contact and send me a note and I will add your site myself. Otherwise the process is completely automatic and you will receive an email when your site is approved (less than 24 hours). Join today before the next Google PageRank update and get the full benefit of being listed!

So what’s next from Apple? Well I think one of my previous predictions can be merged with Apple’s creativity to create something really cool — the iScreen.

First read my prediction here on my original Chief Prognosticator blog.

Now think of a pocket sized screen like the iPod Touch, maybe smaller, which you can unfold into a 2×2 array of touch screens! Then the device would play movies on a “large screen” from internal storage or off the Internet. It would be a truly portable 15″ video player, less than a quarter of an inch thick!

Uh Oh, the IRS might be coming for you and you probably don’t deserve it! How? Well the IRS has announced a program of 13,000 random audits over the next 3 years. That’s right — random. You could be making $20,000 a year and get audited by Uncle Sam. Why are they doing this? Do they expect to find tax cheats through a (small) random sample? No! The IRS is conducting this program in order to gather data for their proprietary tax analysis algorithms. You see there exists a so-called “Tax Gap” of over $345 billion a year. In order to close this gap, the IRS invests heavily in improving their software to help detect anomalies in tax returns to better find the cheats. As for the 13,000 random folks, that’s just to add data for testing. But don’t think that if they find something “out of the ordinary” with your return, they won’t penalize you! Beware!
