Who Will Be the VP?
With the U.S. Presidential election a long ways off, people are having political fatigue set in. Who will be the Democratic Presidential Nominee, Hillary, Barack, or John E? Who will be the Republican Presidential Nominee — McCain, Giuliani, or Romney? Well let’s mix things up a little now and focus on the VP position. It could make or break the ticket this year. Will the front runner (and nominee) select the 2nd place finisher to join them on the ticket? Will the 2nd place finisher decline? Will the Presidential nominee select someone outside the race? I really think the selection of running mate is the more moving and interesting story of the race for the White House. So what are your guesses?

Neither Hillary nor McCain will agree to be the VP. John Edwards won’t even be asked if he wants to be the VP, if Hillary or Obama wins the Dem nomination. If Hillary wins, she ain’t going to ask Obama. And if Obama wins, he ain’t going to ask Hillary. So you can scratch all 3 of them off the list. Bit harder to say on the Republican side.

obi is way more sympatico than hillary. i hope he’ll win. either way it’s going to be something completely refreshing with an afro-american or a woman as president.
