What to do if a Splog (Spam-Blog) starts copying your posts? It’s not so easy. If the Splog is using an advertising system like AdSense, then the best thing to do it report it to the Advertiser. Here’s a post explaining how to report AdSense spam. As far as me, here’s where I’ve been hit by a Spam Blog before:

 If there is not advertising, then try contacting the webmaster directly. Then try contacting the host directly. Most hosts do not want Spam on their servers.

Is Qtrax working or not? It was supposed to go live at 12.01 am on January 29, 2008, but it seems Qtrax is not letting anyone find music. What good is a download music system if there is not music to play? Silly Qtrax. Looks like even TechCrunch got fooled on this one. Let’s see if anything ever materializes out of this or will it be just another example of vaporware?

Have you heard about this new service called Qtrax? It’s supposedly a new Peer-to-Peer music file system which allows you to listen to millions of songs for free. It was supposeded to be backed by the major record labels! No spyware — just really free music! Sound too good to be true? Well according to an article out today at ThisisLondon.co.uk, the rumors seem to be false. Sure there is a Qtrax and it went live today, but the record labels are disavowing any agreements. Are any of you brave enough to try Qtrax given it’s current limbo?
