Help a Splog Got Me!

What to do if a Splog (Spam-Blog) starts copying your posts? It’s not so easy. If the Splog is using an advertising system like AdSense, then the best thing to do it report it to the Advertiser. Here’s a post explaining how to report AdSense spam. As far as me, here’s where I’ve been hit by a Spam Blog before:

Original Post: Ask Jason Personal Tech - Question: Is Amazon Overhyped?

Splog Post: Actual Technology - Question: Is Ama…. well you get the point.

If there is not advertising, then try contacting the webmaster directly. Then try contacting the host directly. Most hosts do not want Spam on their servers.
