What Happened to WorkFriendly.net?
I wrote this a few months ago:
Here’s an amazing website-slash-service I just randomly found Googling myself…. workFRIENDLY.net! What is it? Well it looks a lot like a search engine but what it does it a lot cooler. Just enter in the URL of a site you want to visit and workFRIENDLY masks it into looking like a MS Word document! Now you can read your favorite websites while at work with reduced chance of getting caught by the boss. There is even a “boss” button to quickly switch out the content. Check it out for yourself!

That sounds like an awesome tool - a shame I missed it. I looked for some kind of similar site, but no luck yet!

Workfriendly seems to be down but you should check out www.vanishd.com . Very cool system for hiding what you are surfing behind another webpage.

www.vanishd.com does something similar for nsfw sites…
