How to Stimulate the U.S. Economy
Here’s a suggestion a lot better in the long run that those Tax Stimulus checks most of us have gotten (by the way… they didn’t work that well. GDP only went up 1% from 0.9% to 1.9%). Take $100 billion and invest it in U.S. Infrastructure projects. Why not? China’s doing it. Why not spend $100 billion on roads, bridges, wind farms, off-shore drilling, railroads, and cities. You can’t outsourced THESE jobs and they can pay well. In the end, the money (well, most of it) stays in the U.S. where it is needed most! Just do it!
